These Terms of Service ("terms") govern your use of the PDF to Markdown service at pdf.my99ai.com (the "service"). By accessing or using the service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

The service converts PDF documents — including scanned documents via OCR (optical character recognition) — into Markdown files, and lets you preview, copy, and download the results. You must sign in with a Google account to use the tool.

2. Acceptable use

You agree that you will only upload files that you have the right to process, and that you will not:

• upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have permission to convert;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
• resell or redistribute access to the service without permission.

You retain ownership of the files you upload. We process them only to provide the conversion to you.

3. Your account

You sign in through Google and are responsible for activity under your account. You can sign out and delete your tasks at any time.

4. Payments

Core use of the service is free. An optional Pro upgrade may be offered and is processed securely by our payment provider, Creem. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, Pro is a one-time purchase. Because the service is provided immediately, payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law; contact us if you encounter a payment problem.

5. Data

How we handle your information and files is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. OCR and document conversion are automated and results may contain errors, especially for low-quality scans, unusual layouts, or complex tables. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying converted content before relying on it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service — including loss of data or inaccuracies in converted output — beyond the amount you paid us, if any.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may also update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
