Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-07
This Privacy Policy explains what information PDF to Markdown ("we", "the service") collects when you use pdf.my99ai.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information from Google Sign-In. When you sign in with Google, we receive your unique account ID, email address, display name, and profile picture (the standard OpenID Connect email and profile scopes). We do not request access to your contacts, Drive, calendar, or any other Google data.
- Files you upload. The PDF files you upload are stored on our server to perform the conversion, and the generated Markdown results are stored so you can preview and download them from your task history.
- Payment records. Payments are processed by our payment provider Creem. We receive order status and the product purchased; we do not store your full card number or card details.
- Technical logs. Our server keeps standard operational logs (request times, errors, processing progress) to run and troubleshoot the service.
2. How we use information
- To authenticate you and associate your uploads and conversion results with your account;
- To process your PDF files and deliver the Markdown output;
- To maintain your task history, resume interrupted processing, and provide re-downloads;
- To activate paid features after a completed payment;
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
3. How long we keep data
Your uploaded PDFs and generated results remain tied to your account until you delete the corresponding task in the app. Deleting a task removes the stored file and result. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us using the details below.
4. Sharing and third parties
- We do not sell your personal information or files.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
- We share data only with the providers required to run the service:
- Google — authentication only (Sign-In with Google);
- Creem — payment processing, governed by its own privacy policy;
- the hosting provider that runs our servers and stores the data above.
5. Cookies
We use a single signed, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in after Google authentication. It contains only a signed session identifier; we do not use it for cross-site tracking.
6. Data security
All traffic is served over HTTPS, and access to the server and stored files is restricted. No internet-connected system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
7. Your rights
You can sign out at any time, delete your individual tasks and their files from the app, and contact us to request access to or deletion of the personal data associated with your account.
8. Children
The service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
10. Contact
